Santa Claus is available in every library. From well known classics to books you’ve never heard of, you can find him. Books on plays, music, crafts, or stories, it’s all there. Including CDs and DVDs, you will find it. But most of all, there are books. Go to search their catalog. You will find it under “Santa Claus.” Some of the stories are old, some new. Some about animals, and some not. Since Santa Claus is universal, you will find him. From infants to toddlers to young children to older children.I found some more information here. You will be delighted to find exactly what you want.

Stores like large department stores, Barnes and Noble, small book stores, etc., all have books on Santa. He appeals to all ages. Some of the stories are modern, and others are older stories. A variety of stories come from other countries, and show him in his classical gear in that country. Many of the books are about Santa’s Village at the North Pole. Other ideas are tracking him as he flies on Christmas Eve. You can find old movies on Santa, and songbooks. There are many VHS things on Santa Claus, some animated, and some with very famous actors.

What do you think of when you hear the word Christmas? For me I think of music, and time with the family, beautiful lights, and the cold winter air. Have you ever considered if other countries celebrate Christmas like we do?

The chances are that a lot of countries do celebrate Christmas. I have known people in many different countries, and most of the time thy do celebrate Christmas like us, although sometimes there are subtle differences, such as the main dish for Christmas dinner, or maybe the way they pass the time. Most of the time it’s the same basically, families get together listen to the beautiful Christmas music and huddle together for warmth around the Christmas tree as the smell of warm pies and food fills the air, and the sound of children enjoying their new presents warms the heart. In most countries i believe this is the way it is, and i hope that for most families they can feel this joy, think about how you celebrate Christmas, chances are it’s very similar to this on some ways. In my family we like to have pumpkin pies, my friends family likes to have apple pies. Other than these minor differences i believe we celebrate Christmas the same.

Children are always asking when Santa is going to come to their house. The answer is different for children around the world because it is based upon cultures and how the parents feel about specific traditions. A lot of children enjoy being able to set out cookies and milk for Santa to be able to consume after his long trip down the chimney. It brings them joy and delight as they wake up in the morning to see the cookies and milk gone. There are a lot of holiday traditions, but in the end the main thing that remains is the presents in the morning and the joy on the face of a child.

Take the time to discuss all of the traditions that the holiday holds in store for your family and start your own family traditions. It is the season where everyone gets to unleash their inner child and relish in the spirit, so make the time to enjoy the most wonderful time of the year with all of the special people in your life. There is no time like the present to enjoy answering the age old question of when Santa is going to visit your home.

Teaching children about Santa Claus and Christmas shouldn’t wait until they hear various explanations that confuse the issue. Young children will have difficulty separating the fun of Santa Claus from the truth that Santa isn’t real.

How you deal with the Santa Claus tradition will depend on your background and what you want for your children. When children are very young, you might want to pretend Santa Claus is real, making a big deal out of Santa’s visit and do everything to create the illusion of Santa as a real being. (Of course, you’ll have to explain how Santa can slide down a modern chimney.) Stockings filled and cookies eaten, help the illusion.

Other families celebrate Santa Claus and filling the stockings, but explain to the children that Santa is part of Christmas traditions, but isn’t real. Families that celebrate the faith-based reason for Christmas can explain that the coming of the baby Jesus is the reason for Christmas and Santa is a fun part of the whole celebration.

Children learn the story of the Nativity when parents start a tradition of telling the story while setting out each piece. The baby Jesus can be added Christmas Eve and carols sung.
